Among the other constituents of the index, Hindalco Industries Ltd decreased 5.72% and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd lost 4.99% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 28.69 % over last one year compared to the 1.84% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
