Reliance Communications Ltd rose 2.3% today to trade at Rs 0.89. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 0.72% to quote at 1123.95. The index is down 1.89 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd increased 1.58% and Bharti Infratel Ltd added 1.51% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 12.08 % over last one year compared to the 14.18% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
