The operations of the casino are expected to commence soon, the company said in a statement after market hours yesterday, 9 January 2019.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 189 points or 0.46% to 41641.02.
On the BSE, 99,607 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1.18 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock hit a high of Rs 206.65 and a low of Rs 202.5 so far during the day.
The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 277.75 on 3 April 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 116.05 on 31 July 2019.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month, down 7.44% compared with 2.38% fall in the Sensex.
The scrip outperformed the market in past one quarter, up 16.38% as against Sensex’s 8.58% rise.
The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one year, down 24.77% as against Sensex’s 14.47% fall.
On a consolidated basis, net profit of Delta Corp rose 22.74% to Rs 59.04 crore on 0.14% decline in net sales to Rs 200.84 crore in Q2 September 2019 over Q2 September 2018.

We also operate the Casino Deltin Denzong located at the Denzong Regency hotel in Gangtok, Sikkim. We also own and operate The Deltin, a 176 room five-star hotel in Daman, which is an integrated resort with a proposed casino.
